General Manager of the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al-Khaimah. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Media & Communication (Public Relation) from UAE University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration (HR Management) from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. He held several positions during his tenure as Executive Director of Support Services Sector in RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry and supervisor General of RAK SMEs, Deputy General Manager of the Department of Economic Development and a General Manager (Acting) during the same period. Participated in a number of board’s directors and local, federal committees. He holds an International Leadership certificate (IVLP) from the United States of America and Member of the Government Leaders Forum for Ras Al Khaimah.

Raki Phillips

Chief Executive Officer - Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA)

Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) since June 2019, brings a wealth of industry experience to aid the continued growth of Ras Al Khaimah as one of the fastest growing destinations in the world.
Phillips joins RAKTDA from the Dubai based International Hospitality Consulting Group INHOCO, where he was Senior Partner and Senior Vice President of Development, responsible for hotel project pipelines exceeding $5 billion in assets. He is also the co-founder and CEO of SugarMoo Desserts, Dubai’s first online dessert delivery bakery and co-founder of Earth Hotels, a sustainable, tech-forward and design centric hotel concept.
Phillips, an American national and a fluent Arabic speaker, has a great understanding of the region having worked in the Middle East since 2005 and specifically in the UAE since 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an MBA in Organizational Management.

Christiane Egger

Deputy Manager - Upper Austria Energy Agency

Christiane Egger is Deputy Manager of the OÖ Energiesparverband, the energy agency of Upper Austria, and the manager of the Cleantech-Cluster Energy, a network of 150 companies active in renewable energy and energy efficiency. 
Christiane is also the Vice-President of FEDARENE, the European network of regional energy and environment agencies. She is the conference director of the World Sustainable Energy Days, one of the largest annual conferences in Europe on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. 
Christiane is an expert in energy efficiency in buildings, in solar and biomass heating and in dissemination and promotion of sustainable energy production and use.
She holds a law degree and a post-graduate degree in environmental engineering.

John Kendall

Head of Projects - RAK Ports

John Kendall, RAK Ports – Head of Projects, has 27 years’ experience within the Ports Industry. John spent 20 years with the UK’s leading Port operator - Associated British Ports (ABP) in a variety of roles both operational and construction orientated. He was Assistant Operations Manager for the Ports of Grimsby & Immingham (UK’s largest Port by volume) and Project Manager responsible for the construction of the Humber International Terminal Phase 2 (circa 100 million UK pounds).
In 2007 he joined Aggregate Industries (part of the multinational Holcim Group) as a Contracts Manager with their Special Operations Division overseeing projects throughout the UK and Ireland. 
Prior to joining RAK Ports in 2013, Mr Kendall was Managing Director of a SME in the construction industry undertaking a wide variety of projects for both the public and private sectors.

Eyad Ismail

Director of Engineering - Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone - Government of Ras Al Khaimah

Eyad Ismail leads the Engineering Department at RAKEZ overseeing business and engineering project strategies. His role ensures the department’s adherence to the best practices and delivering projects on time.
Mr Ismail undertakes different responsibilities including infrastructural planning and improvements in industrial and commercial zones, master planning and facility handover. Other responsibilities cover the operation and maintenance of RAKEZ’s infrastructure as well as heading initiatives related to energy savings.
Mr Ismail has an experience of over 15 years working with top industries in the UAE and was awarded as the Best Manager at the Sheikh Saqr Program for Government Excellence (SSPGE) in 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
